This is another one of those moments where knowing what we know ahead of time allows me to add an extra layer to my character analysis, and this time it’s Sanji who’s getting that treatment.

Sanji knows what it���s like to have a past that the rest of the crew doesn’t know about, and that he feels they don’t need to know about. So I can see him putting his trust in Robin when it comes to what Aokiji said, but also being concerned here for her because what if her past is catching up to her? I can imagine that Sanji is also questioning how he would feel if Judge or Reiju were to appear and do the same thing to him, which is part of where the worry is coming from.

Sanji might be the one in denial for some time, but we have to remember who in the relationship has never called the other by their name. Who isn't going too settle down for anyone. Who is emotionally eliterate. Who isn't the romantic. Who has one goal on their life and one goal only. Who is afraid of loosing people he cares about again so he makes himself stronger as well as emotionally detached to keep them safe.

Her smile is now proud as Ace laughs, teeth sinking into the blush red fruit. She doesn’t seem to like the skin of the fig that much, choosing instead to separate it from the flesh with her tongue and lips, lapping up any missed juice as she went.

The sight is downright hypnotizing. Indecent, even. It takes all of Sanji’s fragile willpower to look elsewhere, to appear even slightly normal at that moment. Here they are, only a couple sentences exchanged, and Sanji’s mind is already in the gutter. Seas, she's a mess. ___ Or, a genderbent AU where the Strawhats come across Ace in Alabasta and she spends her first night with them in the galley, keeping a certain cook company.

Welp, this happened. It all stared with a simple doddle and now I made Ichiji an adopted mink daughter.

Here’s a bunch of messy doddles of her, also keep in mind this is set way after one piece, like the Vinsmoke siblings are like in their 30s or for Reiju 33. Where Ichiji is king at at this point and changes the business from warmongers to hero’s for hire, so it might as well be an au.

This was made for silly old fun, another is I pictured in my head is it kinda the movie Three Men and a Baby except there's no girlfriend or even the same plot and it a mostly simple dad and daughter with two idiots uncles and smart aunt. It mostly the dynamic I was thinking about, when I made this.

Some people have been saying that live action Sanji feels a little bit more soft and endearing than manga Sanji, but they can't pinpoint why because he does still feel like Sanji. Some people think it's just Taz's acting, and he does do a great job, but I don't think that's the main reason. Others think his flirting has been turned down a bit, but honestly it hasn't really? He still openly flirts with Nami when they first meet, and he still says things like "women are a mystery to be unraveled" and other goofy simp stuff. And his kindness like being willing to feed the hungry no matter what is obviously something that was always there (it's why Luffy chose him in the first place. Hell, in the manga he chooses Sanji as his cook before he ever actually tastes Sanji's cooking, simply because he sees Sanji feed Gin and realizes what kind of person Sanji is).

But there is a difference! And I've figured out what it is, because there IS one manga/anime Sanji trait that wasn't present in live action Sanji: his hatred of men.

Live action Sanji isn't a misandrist anymore 😳
